Thames Hospice launches sixteenth shop
We have successfully opened our sixteenth store in Farnham Common.Thames Hospice staff, volunteers, Ambassadors and the Chairman of the South Bucks District Council, Duncan Smith, cut the ribbon to officially open the store at 12pm on Friday (14 October). Our new customers were welcomed by local singer Anna Nightingale, who treated passers-by to a selection of 30s-60s rock’n’roll, motown and big-band style numbers. Guests browsed the stunning stock while they enjoyed a celebratory glass of bubbles and delicious refreshments – including a bespoke Thames Hospice cake.
Tracy Hale, Retail Area Manager for Thames Hospice, said: ‘’We were thrilled to open the doors to our new Farnham Common store. The shop was bustling over the opening weekend and we are sure it will continue to be a thriving success in a community the hospice has long-served.
‘’I would like to say a personal thank you to all of our special guests for making the opening a wonderful occasion and we look forward to welcoming the local community into our store, as shoppers, volunteers or donators!.’’
This contemporary store and striking window display creates a bright, welcoming atmosphere and the stylish interior creates a truly unique charity shopping experience, in a new location. The new store offers quality menswear and female fashion, a concession of new bags and accessories and a beautiful selection of Christmas decorations and cards ahead of the festive season.
