Margaret brings a wealth of human resources, organisation development and managerial experience to the varied role of a Trustee. She joined the Board of Trustees in September 2013 and aims to achieve results, create opportunities and appropriately support teams to achieve their potential at this special time in the Hospice’s development.
Since 2006, Margaret has been privileged to volunteer her calligraphy skills to record entries in the Hospice Memorial Book to support bereaved families.
A Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, with an HR career spanning companies including Shell, Motorola, DHL and the NHS, Margaret now runs her own HR consultancy business and is also a Trustee of Headway South Bucks.
Margaret was proud to be a Games Maker at Eton Dorney for the 2012 London Olympics and Paralympics, and has been a Clydesider (volunteer) for the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in 2014. She is also a keen rugby supporter and still aspires to be a backing singer/saxophonist for Roxy Music - living the life vicariously as a member of Windsor’s Rock Choir.
