Director of Education and Innovation
Linda joined Thames hospice in September 2020 having worked for the NHS in oncology, palliative care, hospice care, cardio-thoracic and education. She led in service improvements as NW London improvement lead fellow, completing the MSc improvement science. Linda’s experience spans across primary, secondary, and tertiary care in roles from nursing to senior lead in clinical care and education. She has worked in London hospitals, community, and Frimley health always raising the profile of palliative care, education and is passionate about keeping the patient central in all we do.
Linda is responsible for the Education, Research and Innovation at Thames hospice, working with external stakeholders and Thames hospice staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality End of Life Care training. She is passionate about workforce and creating conditions in which staff can develop, lead, and thrive.
Linda enjoys time with her family and being out on the beautiful waterways of the UK, especially the River Thames either canoeing, peddle boarding or boating.
