Goodies star to host Christmas concert
Thames Hospice is delighted to announce writer and star of The Goodies TV show, Tim Brooke-Taylor OBE, will be hosting our magical Christmas concert at Wellington College, Crowthorne.
Set in the stunning Wellington College Chapel, this fun, festive event takes place on Thursday 3 December at 7.30pm.
Packed with popular carols, the event features performances from Windsor-based a cappella group The Royal Harmonics, Windsor Girls’ School Choir and Windsor Boys’ School Band. Alongside the music, will be readings from special guests, the Mayor of Bracknell, Dee Hamilton, Bracknell MP Dr Phillip Lee and Thames Hospice Ambassador Jason Bevan.
Alison Evans, Thames Hospice Head of Community, Events & Corporate Fundraising, said: “We’re incredibly lucky to have Tim Brooke-Taylor hosting our much-loved concert this year. Wellington College is a stunning venue and we can’t wait to bring some festive cheer to the local community.
"Christmas is a difficult time of year for many, especially those facing the loss of a loved one, and the funds raised from this special concert will enable us to support our patients and their loved ones 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.”
